I can help your clients incorporate your recommendations into an achievable and sustainable plan as part of their holistic vision for health and wellness.

I work with physicians, mental health care providers, and clinical dietitians by helping the client find their internal motivation to achieve long-term behaviour change. I don’t diagnose disease, interpret lab results, prescribe clinical nutritional, medical or psychiatric interventions. Health coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health therapy. I provide secure virtual meetings or in-person counselling and coaching sessions at Safe Harbour Therapy.


Food & nutrition counselling

  • Binge and emotional eating (please note my approach is not suitable for patients with active Anorexia Nervosa)

  • Balanced nutrition to support health at all life stages

  • Nutrition to support mental health

  • Resolving chaotic eating patterns

  • Mindful and intuitive eating

  • Body image

  • Clients in need of clinical nutrition assessment or treatment are referred as appropriate to a clinical registered dietitian for specialized nutrition support and to inform our overall work


 

Life & wellness coaching

  • An expanded and holistic approach to addressing challenges in a larger life, health and wellness context

  • Working in partnership to support client in achieving health and wellness goals that have failed in the past

  • Successfully acting on recommendations from health care providers

  • Helping clients create a personal vision that captures their priorities and values at this time of life

  • Support in creating a plan of action based on the vision and supporting consistent progress
